Yorkton will become a new chapter for Habitat For Humanity, due to The Mosaic Potash Company donating $450,000 towards Habitat For Humanity Saskatchewan. The Yorkton organization is currently operating under the Regina Chapter, with the goal of eventually establishing a stand-alone chapter which will cover the region. Habitat For Humanity Yorkton hopes to build its first home under the Adopt-A-Home Program for a local family in 2009.
