After a day of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Yorkton, you can look back and see what you have accomplished. Neat, right?

Whether you’re on a build site, on one of our committees or working administratively,  you’ll help Habitat help low-income, working families make the dream of home ownership a reality.

Come along with us! We really need you!

During our builds, Habitat for Humanity Yorkton seeks energetic groups to come and volunteer to help change the lives of our community one family at a time. Habitat will be accepting Volunteers on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays each week with a maximum volunteer capacity of 6 per day. The volunteer day begins at 8:00 am and finishes at 4:30 pm.

“You Build Like A Girl” Campaign

A large percentage of our Habitat volunteers are women.  Their drive and willingness to learn makes them shine on the build site.  To honor these women and others like them, who believe they can do anything they set their minds to, we are introducing our 2010 “You Build Like A Girl” campaign.  To come and “Build Like A Girl” grab a group of 5 women, throw on a pair of old blue jeans and grab a hammer.  We will provide t-shirts, hard hats and lunch.  We want women to get down and dirty and build a house.  Its absolutely amazing the feeling you get after you work hard all day and than stand back and actually see everything that you have accomplished.  To “Build Like A Girl” email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
